Colour high
Ahhh Bombay is one of those cities that I’d love to visit; I just have these visions of colour EVERYWHERE. From spices to fabrics to personalities, everything is just that little bit more colourful in Bombay.
Tanielle Lobo was born and bred in Bombay where she studied Art and Design. Leaving Bombay to pursue a career in Fashion in the UK, Tanielle began a foundation diploma at the Kent Institute of Art and Design in Rochester and after completing her foundation, she was offered a place at Central Saint Martins to take a BA(Hons) degree in Fashion Design and Marketing.
Tanielle Lobo’s design and thoughts reflect a very energetic and ornate style. Growing up in Bombay allowed Tanielle to be exposed to ethnic handicrafts and Indian culture. She’s attended workshops in Zardozi (Indian Gold Embroidery), Rangoli (Decorative floor art) , Warli and Madhubani Art (Indian Tribal Painting) and has successfully completed courses in Pattern cutting and tailoring. Inspired by decorative oppulance , she has a vibrant and soulful spirit and an air of indianesque fantasia.
