Emerging Fervour On The Street
LONDON’S BOYS AND GIRLS….
This is what James caught them wearing this week.
Nathalie
Nathalie creating a contemporary Victorian style, perfect and practical for the city. Her skirt is Topshop.
Taku
Loving the denim jacket Taku. It’s great piece to wear with almost anything, this one is from Long Tall sally.
Kevin
Kevin is rocking some style in another great denim jacket and deck shoes.
Keresha
Keresha designed her dress and created a great print by heat press. We would like to see more print Keresha!
Patrycja Grimm
I think Patrycja really wants to be a ninja… She told James she is wearing all black like a ninja – Go for it Patrycja!
Thais
Thais wears shoes from re- occuring label Sick, top from Urban Outfitters and a vintage bag.

We’re back with London’s street style. Relaxed simple looks this week from trendy trackie bottoms and girlish suit trousers. Simple is the key unless flashing gold disco ball does it for you.. Check out
Yasu

Great Mickey Mouse t shirt bringing back memories. A lively crazy but cool combination from Yasu in a vintage Micky tee and lamba trainers.
Steven
Lovely smile from Steven, looking very cool and relaxed in his shirts and shorts. Topped with the small leather messenger bag and timeless Raybans he caught James attention.
Xan
Xan simply does it. His shapely tracksuit joggers with big cuffs are a right on trend.
Victoria
Victoria’s cute short trousers were hers as a child. Another simple construction – hitting the right balance with the short tee over high waisted trousers and the super simple long necklace.
Sane
Disco man! Sane decide to look like a living embodyment of a disco ball.
Make sure you check out the rest of our On the Street shots on Flickr.

Yes yes yes! It is Friday already and we are back to show you some of London’s East end style. We have a palette of sombre Avante Garde tones, yet rather striking, juxtaposed to quirky summer brights. This is what James captured this week.
Nadir Tejani
Nadir has created a good balance with his different shapes and lengths of his garments. A perfect layering of the three quarter leggings under his shorts. His draped style top comes from Ante, his silk shorts from H&M and leggings from Uniqlo.
Shaun
Shaun has an effortlessly cool style here. He wears Alexander McQueen trousers and shoes, vintage shirt and Marc Jacobs belt. It’s all topped off very nicely with Raybans.
Anna
Anna strikes a strange comic like pose in her dark layers. She could be straight off Junya Watanabe’s runway. Her layered garments are from Sick In The Sick Laboratory.
Makode and Perax
What happens if punk meets preen?

This amazing photo shoot happens! When James, which you’ve come to know from our ‘On the Street‘ feature, isn’t roaming the streets for us, he’s actually working hard on all sorts of photo shoots.
And his latest one just has to be shared with you guy!! Not only are the photos amazing but we love the whole concept of the shoot. Chantelle Lue, the stylist, translated her vision ‘Punk meets Preen’ perfectly by choosing to work with the emerging designer Terezka Drabkov and showcasing her Autumn/Winter collection. Add shoes by Fan Hong and she’s created an amazing look. Add the location and photography really gives these pictures a strong and edgy feel.
We love seeing collaborations like these, where like minded talents support each other and the results is a great portfolio piece which everyone can be proud of. We are also intrigured by Terezka Drabkov and Fan Hong but more about them another time.

James (www.jameschampionphotography.com) has been back ‘On The Street’ this week and produced some fantastic quirky images again:
Olivia, Sydney & Frances
Now these ladies know how to dress up something old with something new! Each of them are wearing a bit of second hand or vintage mixed in with some designer pieces. We especially like Frances’ Alexander Wang shirt.
Danny
We love ‘Geek chic’ at Emerging Fervour and think Danny has it spot on with his glasses and turned up Alexander McQueen trousers.
Hanna Sinclair
We love a bit of rock chic too and even better with a bit of knit on top!
Emma
Another look we love. Emma’s Comme de Garcon shorts are perfectly finished with these brogues! Mh the only thing we are slightly worried is that axe, which was given to her by some random bloke in the park…although is this how she got Danny’s umbrella?
Not had enough yet? Make sure to check out our Flickr account where you can see all the ones that didn’t quite make it.

Here we are again with London’s look on the street. We surprisingly have predominantly boys’ quirky styles on show and vintage style tshirts of stripes to cool Britannia’s Union Jack.
Enjoy!
Speedie

Speedie is wearing vintage plus fours with a £5 stripe polo shirt. We love his style of pulling and old fashioned look together by customising prescription glasses into aviators.
Esther Lane

Esther is wearing a friends t-shirt and a friends jeans with her own Doctor Martins. I like Esther’s rock n’ roll tomboy image.
Jack Sully

I love the Union Jack t shirt. Simply worn with skinny jeans and a hat. Jack got his t-shirt from Petty Coat Lane and the rest was given to him – nice!
Sergio Pacini

Sergio wears a statement leather jacket by Uno Cacciatori with Marc Jacobs t-shirt and DM’s.
Russel Harris

Russel has some interesting customised braces on here with leather look shorts.
Elizabeth

The scarf is a great summer accessory to have and a few in different prints and styles is a perfect trick to pull your outfit together.

Here we are with our new styles this week. Our photographer James (www.jameschampionphotography.com) has been all over this week capturing London’s look. We have some some crazy prints and bright colours this week with tartan and check print still as a dominant theme to wardrobes.
Sebastian
Sebastians look is strengthened by his white bmx. His colours of black, white and red are really striking. A very cool city look.
Iris
I really love this, it is really striking with out having to use much detail. The simple paired down style is what makes the look so strong but would not work with out the bright yellow bag which I adore, the across the body strap defines the style along with Iris’s sharp hair cut and black sunglasses.
Sara
Wow! Some awesome prints and colours going on here! Very brave! I would definitely wear the glasses and Sara’s print top as a dress with heels. Lovely colours and cool red high tops.

Emerging Fervour On The Street 21/05
Emerging Fervour are hitting the streets and will be picking out some of London’s best current street style every week. Street style and culture has often provided designers and the like with original and innovative inspiration and since we are all about EMERGING talent we have decided to seek out hot new emerging trends straight off the street!
Talented fashion photographer James Champion (www.jameschampionphotography.com) is our man behind the lens. I have worked with him previously on various shoots and we are very happy to have him on board at Emerging Fervour. He roams around East London and will be looking for eye catching styles for us to show you. We will be spotting emerging and innovative style and picking a favourite every 2 weeks with suggestions on how to create the look.
Here are some of our first looks James has shot – we would love to have your response!
1. Kimi

Kimi looks really cool in his tartan blazer. I normally find red tartan a bit over bearing and christmassy but Kimi works it really well and he looks great! He has topped it off perfectly with the top hat. I only recently noticed the velvet detailing on the blazer which makes it even better. Wearing it with a graphic t shirt has pulled the look together and kept it simple. Liking the interesting garments in the backround…
2. Siobhan

I like Siobhans layering here of muted colours and textures. What I really like is the Chanel logo peeping through, a nice contradiction of a luxury label mixed with harder street wear. The Apple ear phones are the perfect accessory for this outfit.
3. Mafabamba

I get the feeling Mafabamba could exude style no matter what he wears but he is certainly looking good in this 3 piece suit. The perfect length of the sleeves revealing his white cuffs down to the colour of his perfectly assembled tie and brogues - you can tell he likes a bit of perfection.
