Filep Motwary

Born in Cyprus in 1977 to Cypriot and Syrian parents, Filep is a fashion designer, blogger, illustrator, photographer and journalist.

Motwary’s taste for fashion began in 99, when he began working as an assistant stylist for magazines such as L’Officiel Hellas, after graduating from Athens Fashion School. A year later, Filep was hired by Couture designer Loukia as her first Studio assistant designer, a collaboration that lasted until 2004.

Paris called after this and he spent a year working as an intern for John Galliano, Dior and Chloé.

Finally, Filep returned to Greece in 2005, launching his personal collection of womenswear, in a mutual collaboration with Jewellery designer, Maria Mastori. In the same year, Filep created his fashion blog, Un nouVeau iDEAL, check it out.

Maria Mastori

Born in Athens in 1959, Maria is a jewellery designer and as a teenager she took art and design courses along with taking lessons for jewellery design and production. Since 1984 she has been taking part in group exhibitions with her works.

The collaboration between Maria and Filep started in the summer of 2005 and is still going strong. Together, they have presented their collection at the Hellenic Fashion Week. Maria’s work is available in Paris, Athens, Thessaloniki and Myconos.

I love Google as a search engine but have yet to jump from my trusted Mozilla Firefox browser to Google Chrome. But now they might have found a way to convert me and maybe catch a whole new audience with their beautifully designed themes. Am I that fickle? Mh…looking at my Sigerson Morrison design, yes I am.

Check these out, some good but some would do your eyes in after a while, so choose carefully although bear in mind that most time you will just see the banner.
