London Fashion Week Round Up
It’s time for a round up of our fabulous week at London Fashion Week, so many catwalks, presentations, and many amazing collections!! Evelyn and Rob have done an amazing job to capture these moments and there were too many to show on this blog, but fear not, here they all are. An extra big thank you to Evelyn who has run around from venue to venue and made sure we can show you an amazing selection of emerging designers. Click on the image to see the full gallery.

LFW Day 1: Ones to Watch Catwalk

This made me do a little dance, when the invite arrived, as it was so amazing last February that it’s the one catwalk I was extra excited about! Waiting to be let in, you could sense a buzz and as we finally got led to our places, it dawns on me that we’ve got a front-row, yay, how much better could it get?
The show started with ‘Lilee’ who’s colour palette of white, grey and navy blue conjured a sense of purity with a nautical feel. This was my personal favourite; clean lines, swishy materials and muted colours makes for one sophisticated lady and I’d be happy to wear any piece of this collection.
Charlotte Taylor’s was a brilliant follow up. Vintage robots, sail making, copper and rust provided the catalysts for this collection. It is colourful, quirky and fun and feels like sunny summer and that you’d be ready to play.
Emerging Fervour’s SS11 London Fashion Week to do list

Although, AW10 was a pretty tough season to beat – SS11 brings a flurry of new friends and old friends…so here’s our to do list.

Charlotte Tailors tailors

Another Facebook recommendation, this time by Emma from London a la Mode and as exciting as Minna from yesterday.
Charlotte Tailors launched her label this year in February and looking at her collection, we’ll be sticking around for the next one! Strong tailoring, bold silhouettes and sculptured shapes provide canvases for dashes of colour, textures and prints. Charlotte’s vision subtly emphasises the female form, juxtaposing androgynous tones with effortless elegance.
I love the way her Autumn/Winter 2010 collection is described on her site:
Trashy grannies, penguins, old soap operas, movies and the eccentric within provide fuel for the fire in this bold yet elegant collection.

You can lay your hands on these by checking out www.coggles.com or www.youngbritishdesigners.com where here collection will be sold in future (sadly, nothing there yet and www.youngbritishdesigners.com will have to launch first in September).
In the meantime make sure to check out her website and blog.
