Natalie Brown
London College of Fashion MA graduate Natalie Brown is somewhat of an eccentric accessories designer – who gets her inspiration from the fascination with nature’s ability to replicate. The unfurling of buds, garlands and ferns inspired a collection of three dimensional accessories.
Even the boys are wearing them!

Lucy Jay – Print Queen
I came across designer Lucy Jay a few days ago, and just had to write about her amazing silk scarves, which she creates from her South-East London-based studio.
Following the debut collection that was launched in April, the bold and bright silk jersey scarves in the range take a more grown up and assertive approach as personal inspirations are combined with a rich and intricate aesthetic. Check out some of her amazing prints…

Add a bit of glamour to your jewellery collection with Rebekah Price
A couple years ago while interning for a boutique retailer, I came across Rebekah Price, a fabulous jewellery designer. I remember the day – Rebekah came in to our store to show her latest pieces to all the staff. We were able to play dress-up with all the magnificent necklaces, bracelets and earrings. I only wished I could have had some of them in my own jewellery box.

Rebekah Price not only shares my name but she also lives and designs in Toronto, Canada. After studying at New York’s Fashion Institute of Technology, Rebekah developed her own fashion philosophy that comes across in her designs – “Feel beautiful anytime – from carpool to runway – and all the time – and never feel restricted by ‘time and place’”. I love this idea of adding something extra to your everyday style and not needing to wait for those special occasions.

Neurotica launch & Swanfield On Tour = Fabulous Night!

Tuesday night I was lucky enough to go to the Neurotica A/W ’10 launch at the Swanfield On Tour Travelling Boutique in Kingly Court. The pop up store is the brainchild of fashion designers Katherine Port of MINE and Cecilia Hammarborg. As we shied away from the drizzly London weather, spirits were brightened by the delicious array of garments, accessories and artwork on offer.
I love how the boutique runs with its swan theme, suggesting that the store is only in one place for a short amount of time. The idea of all these beautiful pieces flying around spontaneously excites the romantic inside me! The swans, as they call themselves, will be residing at 1.2 Kingly Court for the Autumn season.
The Neurotica collection, as featured on this blog last month, stood out in all its patterned glory as wearable fashion with a lick of feline charm, which reflected the atmosphere of the evening: sophisticated, yet relaxed and fun!

KidViskous
I came across KidViskous a few months ago while looking for a present for a friend. Tiffany Lee is the brain behind KidViskous jewellery label. She is right now into her fourth collection, which is just as quirky as collection 1, 2 and 3. The thing I love most is the Lee designs on a whim and doesn’t conform to any trends, making her pieces timeless.
Check out Collection 4
Something else that’s quite interesting about KV is their support of emerging photographers models, which is exactly what we like hearing at Emerging Fervour! Tiffany also works as a freelance fashion writer, blogger and editor – check out her blog.
Her past and present collection pieces are on sale through the KidViskous website www.kidviskous.com
