Emerging Fervour

If I think Christian Lacroix, I think Eddy in Absolutely Fabulous. I loved her flamboyancy and her obsession with Lacroix. This has been 2 decades ago which is making it even harder to think that this fashion house has been hit so badly it will have to close their haute couture and ready to wear lines!!

So after hearing that Lacroix fashion house is to cease making their fabulous haute couture, we’re very very sad!

Yesterday a Paris commercial court approved the plans to turnaround the struggling business and the outcome is that Lacroix will only continue trading perfume and accessories.

We’re sure the fashion world will miss his decadent, colourful and amazing creations.

But we’re trying to stay positive as the Lacroix CEO, Nicholas Topiol, and even the French minister for industry, Christian Estrosi, don’t think all is lost and are hoping a buyer will come forward.

We really hope this will work out as it would be such a shame if this great designer needs to close their doors.
