Emerging Fervour take a walk in the park…
Thank you everyone who sponsored us for our High Heel Fashion Walk in aid of Action for Children. We managed to raise £180 for this cause…amazing. Thank you!

I’m writing this piece after just having finished the walk with Nathalie and although I almost went flying a few times throughout on some stray twigs and a pebble, I managed to stay upright for the entire walk (thank you to Nathalie’s arm) and make it to the finish line in one piece!

As you can see, Nathalie looks very glam, rocking her Urban Outfitters jumpsuit with her beautiful Scorah Pattullo ‘Natalie’ heels…

Here I’ve decided to go casual with Topshop jeans and a Zara jacket. I love these Liu Jo shoes; they can rock any outfit – no?!

Poor Tracey-Kay! After getting all excited about this walk – she had to cut it short after an accident on the way involving her flip flops, sharp gravel and an unfortunate trip resulting in a very sore and bleeding toe!
So whilst Tracey-Kay was getting her poorly toe cleaned up and patched, Nat and I had to march on and catch up with the other troopers…

With Louboutins, Rupert Sanderson, Fendi and other amazing footwear brands on show, we got so trigger happy with the camera – however this was the only stable shot of the walk we actually managed to get!
Once we got through to the halfway line, we were greeted by some lovely men in tuxedo’s offering us refreshments and a very limber woman doing yoga wearing Marta Jonsson heels – look!

A few random people who saw us asked why a bunch of women were walking round Battersea Park in high heels. Unfortunately it wasn’t so clear as nothing was branded as ‘Action for Children‘ and all our balloons had the Marta Jonsson logo on. We think next year more awareness needs to be made for the actual cause than anything else – after all, this is the reason why we all abused our feet right? Props to Marta though, she is pretty fabulous – her company, Logo 69, design and make shoes for many of the best known high street fashion brands in UK and Europe. Here she is on the right…

At the end of the walk, Marta announced the winners of the most glamorous outfit and the highest heel…Nathalie thought she had the prize in the bag with her 10.5cm heels but the winner walked in a whopping 13cm heel! The two winners were friends with an obvious love for passion as you can clearly see. The lady on the left won the most glamorous outfit prize and the lady on the right won the highest heel prize, she’s wearing Rupert Sanderson heels, our hot favourite from the walk! Here they are…

We had such a good time and we would definitely do something like this again, we’ll keep you posted on any events we’ll be attending. Brace yourselves, we’re on a roll…
