Emerging Fervour

It all started with a simple question: “Where are all the emerging fashion designers?”

There are blogs out there dedicated to fashion and music in general, but not a lot on emerging designers and musicians – so we decided to do something about that and in the summer of 2009 our blog was born. This gave us a place to share all the emerging and unique things we find all over the world as well as other nuggets we just have to share.

With the help of Deborah Clements, from Clements, our identity and direction was developed. Add the open-sourced platform ‘Wordpress’ to the mix and a few development hours by Nathalie, and our blog was ready to be filled up with weird and wonderful content.

And although it started with fashion only, we soon came to realise how music and art all mesh together, which is why early this year, Claudia Nethge from music is okay joined the collaboration – reviewing, interviewing and writing about the emerging musicians she loves.

But this is only the start. Our collective is growing and we’re never short of new talent to write about. We welcome guest bloggers and photographers who want to be a part of our little family.
